The San Diego Chinese Choral Society participated in the Art of Bel Canto 2015 concert, performing two songs, 金縷衣 and 白雲歌送劉十六歸山.

The Association for Preserving Historical Accuracy of Foreign Invasions in China (APHAFIC) held a commemorative event at the UCSD Price Center Theater observing the 70th anniversary of the conclusion of the Second Sino-Japanese War, and invited the SDCCS to perform. Also featured was a solo performance by Hao Wen on the guzheng (not pictured). Photos by Mr. Wu Song.

A performance was held at the Vi at La Jolla Village in memory of Dr. William Chang, husband of Ms. Margaret Chang. Additional featured musicians: John Zhang (erhu), Jia Yu (guqin), Weiping Wang (dulcimer), and our own Hao Wen (guzheng). Photos by Mr. Wu Song.
4/18/15:
Our 2015 concert, titled "From Generation to Generation," was held at the Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, and featured the talents of several talented young local musicians: Adam Davis (violin), Ruby Marrujo (cello), Janine Yang (flute) and Elise Zhao (pipa and percussion), as well as Weiping Wang (dulcimer). 3/21/15:
The Choral Consortium of San Diego hosted the San Diego Sings! Festival 2015 in the Spreckels Organ at Balboa Park. The San Diego Chinese Choral Society participated, joining 19 other local choir groups in an all-day celebration of choral music, including a 1,000 singer performance of a specially commissioned arrangement of "How Can I Keep from Singing?".
