The San Diego Chinese Choral Society (華聖合唱團) was founded in 1988 by a small group of local music lovers, and has grown into a choir of over 30 members. Rehearsing in Mira Mesa on Thursday nights, the SDCCS is San Diego's most long-established Chinese choir. In 2009, Lucy Lin accepted the position of music director, and under her leadership and guidance the choir has performed music in not only Chinese and English, but also Italian, Latin, Hebrew and Swahili and more. We always welcome new members -- Chinese language proficiency not required!
