The tenor and bass members of the SDCCS took part in the San Diego debut of an English-language production of the Romance of the Western Chamber (西廂記) at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, with our choir director Lucy Lin as the music director and vocal coach and the men playing monks. Adapted from the original Chinese by the late Howard Rubenstein, this production was made possible by his widow, Dr. Judith S. Rubenstein, and by Dr. Rosa Ovshinsky.
